Back together and off for Painting!

Well you might have expected details and pictures of our fancy removable Rear Apron, but I don't have any photos of it.  But when I do, they will appear her then.....

So it all went back together.  It looked a bit funny as I'd got hold of 2 brand new rear wings and the car I'd got the 2.0ltr engine from was the donor of the front wings as they were sloping wings without Indicators on the top.

The Long Decklid was fitted too, so I ended up driving from Basingstoke to Didcot with a Blue car with Green and Grey wings, a Green Decklid, and black bits where it'd been treated to new metal....

Adi who was to spray my car was moving house so time had been a factor if I wanted to get the car done and painted for Newquay.

He phoned me just around this time to tell me the sale of his house had gone through quicker than he imagined and he might not have the workshop! (It was part of his house.)

I was in danger of driving to Newquay in a home-made Harlequin Bug!

All those nights of annoying the "other half" by living in my brothers garage JUST so it could be finished for Run to the sun might have been in vain and I may as well have taken my time rather than bust a gut!!!

As it was, the house sale fell through again, so we were on.

The paint process pictures are now added at last.  The final page of what I call the Rebuild. Page 6. (Any other mods like the unfinished interior will be added as other modification pages.

Did we make it to Newquay?

Did I still have a girlfriend after it all?

We'll see..... well let's just see how the paint turns out...
