The front section was rotten in the bottom and at the sides. You can buy the complete front section but it's a fiddle to fit and the Front Valance was fine, so I just bought the 2 side panels and the Bottom piece.
This part of the job did require a fair amount of Lining up on both sides as it meant that 4 separate sections had to line up perfectly..
As you can see it's in need of a replacement, so we cut the old one of and prepared it for the new sections.
The use of Hi Tech clamping hardware was a must!
When Jon was grinding the Front Valance he happened to grind off his shoelaces!!!!
And this is how it looks when we'd done..
One thing was remaining before the car went back together. Remember we were waiting on a Rear Apron for a Long boot? Well it turned up by now. So it was up to Jon to make a bracket to mount the Removable Rear Valance.
